Tumaini Boys attend health workshop

Workshop on Boys' Health Majengo Children's Home hosted a boys' health workshop in the neighboring village of Mto Wa Mbu, bringing together 150 students from ten different schools. Thanks to TEC's partnership with Majengo, we brought ten students from Tumaini Senior Secondary School to take part in this impactful event.  The workshop provided a safe space for young men, ages 11 to 16, to learn from local health experts about puberty in both boys and girls, mental health, nutrition, sexual and reproductive health, and the meaning and importance of consent.  Mussa, the head boy at Tumaini Senior, told the attending Tumaini teachers that the topic was vital to all boys and he was eager to lead a seminiar at Tumaini Senior and share what he had learned.  Click HERE to support Tumaini Schools
