Learn How to Get Involved!

Tumaini Junior School Morning Assembly

As of January 2026, Tumaini Junior ranks 3rd out of 104 schools in the district, promoted 100% of it's 7th graders to secondary school, and continues to place in the top 1% of schools nationwide.

Through TEC’s support, students benefit from a daily nutrition program and an expanding library that strengthens literacy and English language acquisition. Because Tumaini is an English-medium school, students are learning all subjects in English, often as their third language alongside Swahili and their tribal language, making these supports critical to their academic success.

Computer Science at Tumaini Senior Secondary School

Tumaini Senior students continue to excel in STEM subjects. The school has been recognized by the Tanzanian government as a national digital hub and selected as one of only 30 schools nationwide to pilot a new Computer Science curriculum.

Through our STEM and Project Based Learning programs, Tumaini students tackle real problems, test new ideas, and build solutions.
